A Silvermere Inn On The Lake Wedding - Kate and Andrew

Well what can I say about these two?
I first met Kate and Andrew at a Wedding Fair at Silvermere around 18 months ago, and since then I’ve gotten to know these two legends really quite well, so I was especially looking forward to this one.

Kate got ready with her girls at the Hilton hotel in Cobham, and they had a lovely morning chatting and laughing and exchanging gifts.

We were all checking the weather forecast like crazy hoping the expected rain wouldn’t arrive, but it did. And it decided to stay all day long.
Kate was an absolute hero though and just shrugged it off and decided to have the best day ever anyway - and she did!

She had arranged for a horse and carriage to take her to her man, and just like Kate herself, the horses also shrugged off the rain like it was nothing!

By this point Andrew, looking sharp as ever, was in the ceremony room excitedly awaiting his beautiful bride.

He didn’t have to wait very long though. Kate was right on time and it’s fair to say she knocked Andrew’s socks off!

The ceremony itself was really rather lovely. Short and very sweet and all sealed with a big ol’ smooch!

When it rains, you have to do group shots indoors, and honestly, it’s not a problem. Whatever the weather, you can still get beautiful group shots - especially at Silvermere.

You can even get pretty epic confetti shots inside too!

And a rainy day doesn’t mean you can’t get stunning couple portraits either, you just need to get a little bit creative, that’s all.

After the delicious food had been eaten, the speeches had been expertly delivered and one or two beverages had been enjoyed, Kate and Andrew cut their wonderful cake and then shared their first dance together as a married couple.

And then… PARTY TIME!

Despite the weather, Kate and Andrew were both up for coming outside with me to grab a few beautiful pictures and again, rain does not stop you getting stunning photos, I promise.
