A Friern Manor Wedding - Zara and Phil

Zara and Phil had the most amazing day at Friern Manor on Friday.
They had a twilight wedding and so I arrived an hour before the ceremony and met Zara in the bridal suite where she was getting ready. It was one of the tidiest and calm bridal rooms I’ve ever been in - top work from Zara!

Meanwhile Phil was down in the ceremony room excitedly awaiting his beautiful his bride.

He didn’t have to wait long though. Zara was right on time, and it’s fair to say that she knocked his socks off!

The ceremony itself was really lovely. Short and very sweet and all sealed with a big ol’ smooch and a walk back down the aisle to cheers and applause from all of their guests!

After the ceremony, I took a little walk around the beautiful Friern Manor grounds with the very newly weds to get some gorgeous photos.

Shortly after, their very excited guests absolutely pelted them with confetti!

And then it was time for mingling and photos in the gardens.

After the delicious food had been eaten, the speeches had been expertly delivered and one or two beverages had been enjoyed, Zara and Phil shared their first dance together as a married couple.

Before I left these two wonderful legends to party the night away with their guests, I snuck them away for just two more minutes to get a few dusk shots.

That’s all for this little preview, folks.

An incredible day for the most wonderful couple.

I’ll add one or two more pictures from this day to the Facebook and Instagram pages as I edit them, so feel free to follow along and re-live some more beautiful moments.

Huge thanks to all at Friern Manor for taking such good care of me and for making sure everything ran smoothly.
Special thanks to Jordan, Sarah and Joanne. The absolute dream team!

Thanks too to all of Zara and Phil’s wonderful guests for making me so welcome. I had a blast with you all!

Hands up if you had a great time at Zara and Phil’s wedding!

An Orsett Hall Hotel - Lisa and Liam

What a incredible day Lisa and Liam had at Orsett Hall on Saturday.
They are an amazing couple and had a blast with their friends and family.

Lisa got ready with her girls at the venue.

Meanwhile Liam was excitedly awaiting his beautiful bride in the chapel. He didn’t have to wait long though, Lisa was right on time and looking amazing. It’s fair to say that she knocked his socks off!

The ceremony itself was really lovely. Short and sweet and sealed by cheers and applause as the very newly weds walked back down the aisle together.

How great is this family picture, by the way!

We had a little stroll around the gardens to get some beautiful pictures of the couple.

After the speeches had been expertly delivered and one or two drinks had been enjoyed, Lisa and Liam had their first dance together as a married couple.

And there was still time left to capture a few evening pictures of them too. I like this one best - I love how much Lisa is laughing here!

That’s all for this little preview, folks.

An incredible day for the most wonderful couple.

Thanks to all of Liam and Lisa’s wonderful guests for making me so welcome. I had a blast with you all.

Special thanks to the bridesmaids for running the group shot section of the day like champions!

A Knepp Estate Wedding - Heather & Pete

Wow, what an incredible day Heather and Pete had on Saturday.
When I first met these two for their engagement session in Spring, I knew right away that their wedding was going to be special.
And so it proved to be.
Pure magic from start to finish.

Heather got ready with her girls at her parents home and they had a wonderful morning together. Lots of laughing and joking and they all (but especially Heather) looked wonderful!

Before we knew it, it was dress time.

And right before it was showtime, there was time for a little bubbly!

The ceremony was at St Mary the Virgin Church in Shipley and the first of a few showers that were to come had arrived. Heather wasn’t remotely concerned though and smiled right through it.

Inside the church, Pete was waiting for his gorgeous bride. He didn’t have to wait long of course, as Heather was right on time. I think it’s fair to say that she totally knocked his socks off. The ceremony itself was lovely and very sweet. All sealed with a big smooch and walk back down the aisle to cheers and applause!

The rain had made way to glorious sunshine and so we did confetti and group shots right outside the church.

As the guests made their way to The Knepp Estate for the reception, the happy couple and I stayed back to get a few photos by the very impressive (and family owned) wedding car. Fun fact, this is the very same car that Heather’s parents had on their wedding day too.

Then we were off to The Knepp Estate for the reception.
The bridal party had been there until 11pm the night before setting everything up, and what a job they did.

Heather, Pete and I took a little stroll around the grounds to get some beautiful pictures (and to greet one or two uninvited - but entirely welcome - guests).

After the delicious food had been eaten, the speeches had been expertly delivered and one or two glasses of wine had been enjoyed, Heather gathered ’all the single ladies’ so that she could throw the bouquet. If I show you this picture first, can you guess who caught it!?

…yeah, you got it right!

Heather and Pete then snuck off to rehearse their first dance, which to me was another opportunity to get some pictures of these two legends.

And then it was time for the real deal… and they brought the house down!

And then… PARTY TIME!

Right before it was time for me to leave them to it, I snuck the very newlyweds out for just 5 more minutes to get this beauty.

That’s all for this little preview, folks.

An incredible day for the most wonderful couple.

I’ll add one or two more pictures from this day to the Facebook and Instagram pages as I edit them, so feel free to follow along and re-live some more beautiful moments.

Special thanks to the bridesmaids for running the group shot section of the day like champions, and especially to Anna for taking on dress floofing duties.
