An Abbey Farm Wedding - Kayleigh & Lucas

Wow, what a day this was. Summer returned and Abbey Farms looked glorious for these two absolute legends.

Kayleigh got ready at her folks home and she had a wonderful morning with her girls.

Before we knew it, it was dress time and it’s fair to say that Kayleigh blew everyone away!

And how great did all the girls look together!

And then it was showtime so we all headed to St Leonard’s Church, a beautiful old 13th century church tucked away in quiet little corner of the Abbey Farms ground next to an old ruined chapel. Lucas was there awaiting his beautiful bride.

He didn’t need to wait long though. Kayleigh was right on time and she wowed everyone.
The ceremony itself was lovely. Fun and joyous and all sealed with a big ol’ smooch and a walk back down the aisle to whoops and cheers!

On the short walk back to the main venue we stopped for a few beautiful photos.

It was then time for a quick dress change (Kayleigh actually changed into her Mum’s wedding dress at this point - how amazing!) and a Chinese tea ceremony that made an emotional wreck of everyone - including me!

After the delicious food had been eaten, the speeches had been expertly delivered and one or two glasses of wine had been enjoyed, Kayleigh changed back into her white dress and we set off on a little sunset walk around the farm grounds.

And then the dancefloor opened up for the couple’s first dance followed by one heck of a party!

That’s all for this little preview, folks.

An incredible day for the most wonderful couple.

I’ll add one or two more pictures from this day to the Facebook and Instagram pages as I edit them, so feel free to follow along and re-live some more beautiful moments.

Huge thanks to all Abbey Farms for taking such good care of me and for making sure everything ran smoothly.

Thanks too to all of Kayleigh and Lucas’ wonderful guests for making me so welcome. I had a blast with you all!
Thanks in particular to Nathan for hunting down all of the stragglers for the group shots and to Aisling for her dress floofing skills.

A Crondon Park Wedding - Beth & Alex

Sometimes everything comes together all at the same time to create something so, so special.
Yesterday at Crondon Park, this happened for Beth and Alex.
The perfect couple - obviously - but also the perfect venue with the perfect weather and the perfect blend of guests and mixing of cultures.
It was one of those days and one of those weddings that reminds me that I actually have the best job I could wish for.

Beth got ready in the bridal suite at Crondon Park and she had a lovely time with her girls, relaxing and chatting while they were getting all made up.

Meanwhile Alex was also having a lovely time getting all dapper.

Before we knew it, it was dress time and it’s fair to say that Beth completely blew her Dad away.

And then it was showtime! Beth was escorted down the aisle by both her Dad and her Step Dad which was so lovely.
The ceremony itself was really wonderful. Short and very sweet and all sealed with an epic dip kiss while the guests all exploded with cheers and applause.

They were even louder with their cheers and applause for the glass breaking and confetti.

The very newly weds and I took a little stroll around the beautiful Crondon Park grounds for some gorgeous photos. We actually did this twice in the end. Once during the bright sunshine and then again at sunset, but for the purpose of this little preview, I’ll group them together.

As we came back from the little sunset shoot, the happy couple were greeted with a sparkler welcome.

Before we even knew it, it was time for the dancefloor to open.
Starting with the first dance (Space by Biffy Clyro just to add one more perfect little touch to this wedding) followed by the hora dance (Beth definitely wasn’t terrified) and then some good old fashioned shapes being cut and booties being shaken.

Right before it was time for me to head off and leave these legends to party into the small hours, I stole Beth and Alex for one more photo…

That’s all for this little preview, folks.

An incredible day for the most wonderful couple.

Huge thanks to all Crondon Park for taking such good care of me and for making sure everything ran smoothly. Special thanks to Jo who was a legend all day.

Thanks too to all of Beth and Alex’s wonderful guests for making me so welcome. I had a blast with you all!
Thanks in particular to Ben and Brad for hunting down all the stragglers for the group shots and to Jenny and Katherine for their dress floofing skills.

Hands up if you had a great time at Beth and Alex’s wedding!

Ana & Marc

What a day these two had yesterday at Ana’s parent’s farm - a perfect setting for an incredible wedding.

Both Ana and Marc got ready at the farm house but because of some key organisational skills from the bridesmaids, they didn’t lay eyes on each other all morning.

Marc helped their two little lads Mason and Ezra get all dapper.

Although Mason felt a little tweak was required.

Before we knew it, showtime was approaching and Marc and his pals disappeared down to the marquees ready for the ceremony. Ana wasn’t far behind, but first there was the small matter of bringing a few tears to her Dad’s eyes.

And then, showtime! The ceremony itself was really lovely. Short and very sweet and all sealed with a big smooch and some faces full of confetti.

I took the very newlyweds for a little walk around the farm grounds for some pictures.

There were some epic group shots.

And how about this for a family picture 😍

The kids made good use of the huge inflatable slide.

After the delicious food had been eaten and the speeches had been expertly delivered, much el vino did flow. And then the dancefloor opened.
Ana shared a dance with her very proud Dad.

And then she shared a dance with her very proud husband.

And finally the moment that this lot had been waiting for… PARTY TIME!
The bangers kept coming, the moves kept coming and an impromptu limbo competition took place. Marc didn’t win the limbo but he did win the best moves to the Back Street Boys, and that’s the real quiz!

And of course, if you’ve had such an epic wedding, it only makes sense to have an epic fireworks display too.

That’s all for this little preview, folks.

An incredible day for the most wonderful couple.
