A Keston Wedding - Sam & Suman

Well, I never would have thought that it would be August before I shot my first wedding of 2020, but such are the times! 
I cannot tell you how happy I am, that despite everything , Sam and Suman managed to get married yesterday.
They were married at BCC Church in Bromley in front of just 30 people (2020 rules!) - although there were loads of people in The UK, India, Australia and beyond watching along on the live-stream, an idea which I just love!
Later we went to the extremely lovely Keston Ponds for Bride and Groom pictures. 

It was gorgeous, it was emotional, it was fun - and it was very 2020! 

Here are some shots and the stories behind them, from their big day:

In order for the wedding to go ahead, Sam and Suman’s guests had to wear face coverings and sit in their social bubbles.

Singing was not permitted (another 2020 wedding staple) so songs (and later messages from absent family members) were played on screens around the church.

We took the couple portraits at Keston Ponds. There are a lot of great spots there. I love it because I’m a sucker for a reflection shot.

I love this shot with the sun shining through the trees. I promise I didn’t make them stand in the long grass - there is a nice little pathway which they are standing on. I’m in the long grass, though!

We were running tight on time, but we still managed to squeeze in one last reflection shot - and I love it!
