A Silvermere Inn On The Lake Wedding - Katie & Mark

What a day Katie and Mark had yesterday. They lucked into the warmest day of the year for their wedding and their big day was as lovely as the weather.
Their ceremony took place at Weybridge Registry Office, a venue that I’m very familiar with and very fond of - they have a wonderful garden area that is great for photographs.
Then it was off to Silvermere Inn On The Lake for the reception - and lots more pictures there too. It was my first time shooting a wedding a Silvermere and it has so many great photo opportunties, I loved it.
More important than the venues though, was the couple. Katie and Mark were incredible. Laid back and relaxed and up for all the pictures. They had a wonderful day and partied with their guests long into the night.

Katie and her girls got ready at Brooklands hotel. Her Bridemaids took good care of her and helped her into her dress.

The finishing touches - Katie had been pretty relaxed all morning but started to get a tiiiiny bit nervous at this point.

A very proud Dad sees his little girl in her dress for the first time. I love an emotional father of the bride. If you can’t shed a little tear on your daughters wedding day, then when can you?

It wasn’t just the girls getting all done up at the hotel. These two lads looked dapper!

Two best men meant two speeches and twice the laughs.

Hands up if you loved watching Katie and Mark get married!

As the evening began and the temperature dipped a little, I stole the bride and groom for a little while and we went to the lake for some pictures.

And what a gorgeous place for pictures it is too.

Reflections always make me happy.

After a little while we rejoined the guests and it was time for the first dance.

And what better time for a confetti cannon than the first dance?

Of course, the kids absolutely LOVED playing with the confetti.

Although the kids weren’t alone in having a little play with it.
