A Two Hoots Barn Wedding - Hannah & Paul

Wow - What a wedding this was!
Hannah and Paul chose Two Hoots Barn in Sternfield, Suffolk as the venue for their big day. The barn is surrounded by a Christmas tree forest and during the latter months of the year it becomes Redhouse Christmas Barn. Maybe then, it was somekind of Christmas miracle that every weather forecast was predicting huge thunder storms for much of the day, but instead we got gorgeous sunshine nearly all day long.

Here are some pictures from Hannah and Paul’s wedding day:

While we didn’t get any rain until much later in the day, we did get strong winds. This lovely welcome sign would later be blown over and moved indoors. It stood strong until after the ceremony though, so it served it’s purpose well.

I love these kind of reaction shots. Hannah’s girls see her in the dress for the first time.

Finally it was time for the ceremony and for the guests to catch their first look at the bride.

After waiting for this moment all morning, Paul finally gets to see his beautiful bride.

I always try to get these ‘shoot through’ reaction pictures. Here the Maid of Honour was suitably moved by the moment.

The. First. Kiss.

I told you that sign would later be blown over, didn’t I?

Paul’s boys didn’t want to let him off the hook with a simple ‘stand still and smile’ picture.

By this point the important business was over and it was time for me to take the new Mr & Mrs off for a few pictures.

By the way, if I photograph your wedding and there happens to be an amazing willow tree on the grounds, at some point we are going to use it for pictures…

…And maybe not just for the Bride and Groom pictures!

Right before it was time to leave, I was able to grab the happy couple for two minutes for a few night pictures. I love these kind of shots so I’m always looking for an opportunity like this one.
