An Islington Town Hall Wedding - Anna & Luke

I really loved this wedding. Anna and Luke (and all of their guests) just had a blast all day long.
I was laughing along and smiling with them all the entire day.

I arrived at Islington Town Hall a little earlier than I was scheduled to and Luke and his lads weren’t far behind me. 
We decided to use the time we had to get a few shots of Luke and his Groomsmen and the lads were up for having a bit of fun with some of them.
This one was my favourite.

Right before Anna arrived the groomsmen made sure everyone was up in the ceremony room to await her big entrance. Luke looked excited and keen to see her.

He didn’t have to wait very long though, Anna appeared, looking stunning of course, and she knocked Luke’s socks off.

The ceremony itself was lovely. Short and sweet and all sealed with a big kiss. Plus (see pic 3) right where I was stood there was a gold lamp attached to the desk and I decided to use that to reflect the very impressive ceiling into one of the pictures, because…. fun! 🤷‍♂️ 

After all the papers had been signed and everything was official, the very newly weds exited the ceremony to huge cheers and applause from their very excited guests.

While the guests all made their way outside to prepare for a confetti pelting, Anna and Luke spent 10 minutes with me inside the town hall to get some beautiful pictures.

And then it was time for them to receive that aforementioned confetti pelting. Once again, the roar from their guests as these two exited the building was wonderful! 

We all took a short walk to Fredericks for the reception, which was looking incredible.

There was a delicious wedding breakfast and some expertly delivered speeches.

The group shots were as fun and as energy filled as the rest of the day had been.

And the first dance? Well, I’ve seen a lot of first dances, and in terms of crowd participation at least, this one was hands down the best. It was a ‘let’s get this party started’ kind of dance and a room full of guests yelling ’Ohhhh iiiiiiiiiiii - I wanna be with you everywhere’ at the top of their lungs while Anna and Luke bopped around in the middle of it all will live long in the memory. 

And then finally, it was party time! 
I guess I should have known from the minute that Anna made her ceremony entrance to Everlong by the Foo Fighters that was going to be my kind of party!
