A Great Fosters Hotel Wedding - Donna and Jon

After 2 years of postponements and waiting, Donna and Jon finally had their big day.
They were married at the lovely Great Fosters Hotel.

The ceremony was really beautiful. There were tears, laughter, a big old kiss and then an awesome walk back down the aisle to whooping and applause. The perfect wedding ceremony.

After the ceremony we took a nice stroll around the beautiful hotel gardens for some pictures.

After the wedding breakfast, there was a first dance to Goo Goo Dolls Iris - what a tune!

And then PARTY TIME
And what a party - complete with some professional dancers to entertain the guests too.

What a day!

That’s all for this little preview, folks.
I’ll add one or two more pictures from this day to the Facebook and Instagram pages as I edit them, so feel free to follow along over there.

Huge thanks to all at Great Fosters for taking such good care of me. Especially to Emilia, for making sure everything ran smoothly.

Thanks too to all of Donna and Jon’s lovely guests for making me so welcome.

A Jesus College / Trinity Hall Wedding - Alex and Luke

There’s just something a bit special about Cambridge isn’t there?
So when Alex and Luke asked me if I was available to shoot their wedding there, I jumped at the chance.
Luke studied at Jesus College for 8 years, so what better place than it’s chapel for their wedding?

And what a lovely ceremony it was too. The two of them could not stop smiling the entire time - just beautiful.

After the ceremony, Luke lead us on a stroll around his old stomping grounds for some pictures and honestly, if we had had all day I could have happily shot picture after picture here. What a place.

Soon after, Alex and Luke met back up with their guests at the equally wonderful Trinity Hall - and they arrived in style!

And later, their guests were treated to a river tour too.

Now let’s take a second to appreciate what an amazing venue Trinity Hall is. I mean look at this for a dining area.

I was only lucky enough to hang out with Alex, Luke and their guests for 5 hours, so just before they all settled in for their meal, I got them all together (with the help of the excellent staff at Trinity Hall) for a big group shot.

Huge thanks to all at Jesus College and Trinity Hall for taking such good care of me. Especially to Fiona, who went above and beyond to make sure I got my shots at Trinity Hall.

Thanks too to all of Alex and Luke’s lovely guests for making me so welcome.

A Hampton Court House Wedding - Frankie and James

In the beautiful setting of Hampton Court House, and in the sweltering heat, Frankie and James had their big day yesterday. And it was a heck of a day!

Frankie and her girls got ready at Hampton Court House and it was one the calmest and most organised bridal rooms I’ve ever seen. No stress, no panic - just Frankie and her girls having a lovely chilled morning.

Once the dress was on, it was time for the big reveal with Frankie’s Dad.
Obviously she blew him away!

And before we even knew it, it was showtime.

James was waiting for his bride but first we were all treated to something I’ve never seen before. Something wonderful. A FLOWER GUY. It was epic!

Frankie still stole the show though, and James couldn’t help but get a little emotional when he saw her.

The ceremony itself was really lovely and sweet, and all sealed with a big ol’ kiss and then a confetti walk.

Next we had time for some group shots in the grounds of the house.

I was very happy to have a walk around the incredible gardens of Hampton Court House with the happy couple for some pictures. It’s hard to believe that this place is a school. My school certainly didn’t look anything like this.

Soon after that, it was time for the Wedding breakfast and speeches.
Once the food had been eaten and the wine bottles were empty, the band La Grande played the couple’s first dance.

And then, PARTY TIME
And what a party. It mattered not one bit to this lot that it was roasting hot or that it was a Monday night (bet there were a lot of people calling into work sick this morning), these guys partied hard!

Soon enough, it was just about time for me to leave them to it, but not before I stole the couple away for a few night time shots. If you have hired me for your wedding and I ask you to pop outside before I leave for a few nighttime shots, please say yes, because I LOVE creative night shots and I promise it will be worth it!

Huge thanks to all at Hampton Court House for taking such good care of me. Especially to John and his team for making sure the day went so smoothly.

Thanks too to all of Frankie and James’ lovely guests for making me so welcome.
