A Wasing Park Wedding

What an amazing day Kelly and Tom had at the beautiful Wasing Park yesterday.

Kelly and her girls made the final preparations in the bridal suite at Wasing Park while the guests were all arriving outside.

Kelly had both her Dad and her Step Dad there and got to have a special first look moment with both of them. It’s fair to say that they were both absolutely blown away.

Meanwhile, Tom was nervously awaiting Kelly in the ceremony room, but he didn’t have to wait too long…

Sometimes the guests are as good to focus on as the couple.

The ceremony itself was really lovely and emotional and sealed with a kiss while their nearest and dearest cheered and applauded.

Both the girls and the boys took some pretty great pictures.

By this point the early rain had cleared up and it turned into a gorgeous day, so we took a little stroll around the Wasing Park gardens…

As the sun went down, the venue looked even more amazing.

Kelly and Tom’s first dance was brilliant - and so was their choice of tune  (Bring Me The Horizon)…

And shortly after, Kelly, Tom and all of their guests got to party, which they had been waiting to do all day!

Finally it was time for me to get going and leave Kelly and Tom to party with their guests, but not before I stole them away one last time for a few night time shots.

That’s all for this little sneak peek, folks.
I’ll add one or two more pictures from this day to the Facebook and Instagram pages as I edit them, so feel free to follow along over there.

I have sooo many more great shots from this wedding, but I can only put so many on these little previews. However, Kelly and Tom will have their full gallery in about 4 weeks, so if you were a guest at their wedding and you’re super keen to see more, they’ll be able to share them with you soon.

Huge thanks to all at Wasing Park for taking such good care of me and for running the day wonderfully.

Thanks too to all of Kelly and Tom’s guests who were great fun all day and tore up the dancefloor all night!

Huge congratulations to Kelly and Tom - thanks for having me at your big day.

A Pembroke Lodge Wedding

Well what can I say about these two?
What a couple. What a day!
From the moment I first met Charlotte and Shanon and they told me they’d only be playing rock music at their wedding, I couldn’t wait to shoot it for them.

Charlotte got ready at her parent’s house in Epsom and chose to have Land Rover that had been imported from South Africa as her wedding car. This was awesome because;

a) Land Rovers are cool, and

b) Shanon is from South Africa

Soon enough, we were at the beautiful Pembroke Lodge in Richmond Park where Shanon was keenly awaiting his soon to be wife.

But first - time for a silly face selfie!

Soon enough, it was showtime!

The ceremony was lovely and very sweet and before we knew it, Charlotte and Shanon had some new bling and were kissing to whoops and applause from their nearest and dearest!

And it all got a little bit emotional for some…

And then noise and applause started up again as the (very) newlyweds made their way out of the ceremony room.

Either side of a really intense rainstorm, we managed to spend some time in the beautiful gardens of Pembroke Lodge.

One of the many cool things about Charlotte and Shanon’s big day is that instead of flowers on the tables, they had these amaaaazing animal masks…

Which were well utilised after the wedding breakfast.

True to their style, their first dance was to Stone Sour and it was glorious!

And then rock music played out long into the night…

As always, right before I left them to party with their guests, I asked if they wanted to spend 10 minutes taking a few night time shots. These two are awesome so of course they said yes…

That’s all for this little sneak peek, folks.
I’ll add one or two more pictures from this day to the Facebook and Instagram pages as I edit them, so feel free to follow along over there.

Huge thanks to all at Pembroke Lodge and to Charlotte and Shanon’s guests for being so great and making sure I was well taken care of.

Huge congratulations to Charlotte and Shanon!

A Parley Manor Wedding

On Monday I managed to get together enough petrol to make it down to Parley Manor near Bournemouth for the truly wonderful wedding of Claire and Anthony.

For this wedding, it was actually the best man - a good friend of mine - who booked me as a wedding gift for Claire and Anthony. What a beautiful gift that is.

Claire and her girls got ready at the venue, while Anthony and the boys were off scrubbing up elsewhere.

As showtime approached, Claire’s Dad, Steve, came to meet her in preparation to walk her down the aisle. What a proud man Steve was.

By this time, all of the guests were seated and Anthony was awaiting his bride, but we still had a few more minutes, so plenty of time to squeeze in a couple of shots of the kids and bridesmaids.

And then it was time to take the short walk through the Parley Manor gardens…

To where Anthony was keenly (and slightly nervously) awaiting his beautiful bride.

He didn’t have to wait much longer before Claire was proudly escorted down the aisle by Steve and before we even knew it, we had ourselves a married couple!

This picture explains perfectly why I always get a guest or two to help me round up people for pictures - it’s not always easy!

And he wasn’t the only one to be picked up!

People were getting hungry and the wedding breakfast was fast approaching but I still had a few minutes to take a little walk through the lovely gardens at Parley Manor with the happy couple.

And then after the wedding breakfast, I managed to steal them away for a few more minutes - just as the sun was setting.

A lovely first dance followed shortly after…

And then it was the moment everyone had been waiting for…. PARTY TIME!

That’s all for this little sneak peek, folks.
I’ll add one or two more pictures from this day to the Facebook and Instagram pages as I edit them, so feel free to follow along over there.

Huge and sincere thanks to all at Parley Manor, especially Viktorija and David, who not only ran the entire day to perfection, but also made sure I was well taken care of all day long.

Thanks too, to Michelle, Nelly, Kelly and Peter for assisting me at one time or another, whether that be with dress floofing, lighting, getting the kids to look at the camera or finding all of the people that had ran off when it was picture time!

Mostly though, a HUGE congratulations to Claire and Anthony. You two are amazing and I wish you a lifetime of happiness and parties! x
