Katie and her girls got ready at Brooklands hotel. Her Bridemaids took good care of her and helped her into her dress.

The finishing touches - Katie had been pretty relaxed all morning but started to get a tiiiiny bit nervous at this point.

A very proud Dad sees his little girl in her dress for the first time. I love an emotional father of the bride. If you can’t shed a little tear on your daughters wedding day, then when can you?

It wasn’t just the girls getting all done up at the hotel. These two lads looked dapper!

Weybridge Registry Office is small but lovely. Here Mark sees his beautiful bride for the first time.

Nerves all over with and time for the smiles.

The garden path at Weybridge Registry Office is a great little place for confetti.

Katie and Mark’s little boy looked so sharp in his matching outfit. What a dude!

Two best men meant two speeches and twice the laughs.

As the evening began and the temperature dipped a little, I stole the bride and groom for a little while and we went to the lake for some pictures.

And what a gorgeous place for pictures it is too.

Reflections always make me happy.

After a little while we rejoined the guests and it was time for the first dance.

And what better time for a confetti cannon than the first dance?

Of course, the kids absolutely LOVED playing with the confetti.

Although the kids weren’t alone in having a little play with it.

The dress was beautiful and Jenny’s Mum was on hand to help zip her in.

As go-time neared, there were just the last finishing touches to take care of.

The moment their eyes first met. Jenny was flanked by her Mum and her two incredibly cute flower girls.

I always love the confetti shot. I particularly liked that the confetti matched the wedding’s colour scheme. THAT’S attention to detail.

This one took a little while to organise and I did bash my head on a window frame too - but worth it in the end!

After all the family pictures were done, I took Jenny and Andy off for their bride and groom portraits. We kept it nice and relaxed and natural - as I always like to do - and we got a really lovely set of pictures.

The great thing about the bride and groom portraits is that it gives the couple a nice, quiet moment away from the madness.

Another peaceful moment away  from the hustle and bustle.

Okay, so bride and groom portraits were over and it was time to head back to the party!

Now, I told you that these guys were fun, right? Well you should have SEEN their first dance. Wow!

Although Jenny and Andy weren’t the only ones having a spin on the dance floor!

Just as the sun was setting, I stole the couple away for a few more minutes. Now, the clouds kind of spoiled the sunset, but personally I LOVE a moody sky so I was happy enough regardless. I think the picture turned out great.

I loved this make up light. A little bit I wished someone could have just carried it around everywhere shining it on the bride and groom!

Finally it was time for the serious stuff. Hand in hand, the ceremony begins.

Sophie and Sam enjoy their first kiss as a married couple. Always a great moment at any wedding.

Friern Manor is a beautiful venue and served as a great backdrop for some pictures.

I’m always keen to have the bride and groom just hold hands and have a little stroll and a chat. It usually makes for a really relaxed, natural picture.

When the veil is that grand, there is more than enough room for two…

…In fact, I managed to sneak in there for a few seconds too.

When you’ve been nicely posing for the formals for 20 minutes and finally the photographer calls your best mates up for a picture, this happens!

So. Many. Sams.

I like to grab the bride and groom for a few night time shots before I leave. Luckily for me, Sophie and Sam were very happy to oblige.

I love couples like this. Here is how the conversation went immediately before this shot. Me: ‘Hey guys, I have a good idea for a picture. It’ll look really great, but you might have to stand in the bushes by the lake. Totally okay if you’re not up for it.’ Them: ‘Of course we are up for it! Just tell us where to stand!’
